Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Indian Dream collects, why, and what rights you have over it.

1. What We Collect

Account information

• Email address (for email/Google sign-in accounts)
• Password — stored as a one-way cryptographic hash; we never store or can see your actual password
• Name and mobile number, if you choose to provide them
• A referral code, if you signed up via one, or your own referral code once generated

Guest accounts can be created with no personal information at all.

Gameplay & purchase data

• Your in-game progress, decisions, and financial simulation history
• Energy Coin purchase records — package, amount paid, date, and payment status (never your card/UPI details — see Section 3)
• Energy Coin balance and transaction history (earned, spent, gifted)

Social/multiplayer data (only if you use these features)

• Room names, chat messages, reactions, and voice messages you send to a room you're part of
• Voice messages are automatically deleted after 24 hours

Technical data

• IP address, used for basic abuse/fraud prevention (e.g. limiting how many accounts can be created from one connection)
• Standard server logs

2. What We Don't Collect

We never see, request, or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, net banking password, or any other sensitive payment authentication data. Payments are handled directly by our payment gateway, which is independently responsible for securing that information under its own compliance obligations.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To run your account and save your game progress
• To process purchases and credit Energy Coins
• To operate multiplayer rooms and chat, if you use them
• To prevent fraud and abuse (e.g. referral abuse, fake accounts, payment fraud)
• To respond if you contact support

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Who We Share Data With

Who	Why
Our payment gateway provider	To process your Energy Coin purchase. They receive the information needed to charge you and confirm the payment — not your Indian Dream password or gameplay data.
Google (if you sign in with Google)	Standard OAuth sign-in — we only receive your name and email from Google, nothing else.

We do not use third-party advertising or ad-tracking networks.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information (email, name, phone, password) is immediately and permanently anonymized, and your gameplay history is permanently deleted.

One exception: records of Energy Coin purchases (amount, date, payment reference) are retained even after account deletion. This isn't optional on our part — Indian tax and accounting law requires payment transaction records to be kept for a minimum retention period regardless of what happens to the account that made them. These retained records are no longer linked to any of your personal details once your account is deleted — only the transaction facts (what was bought, when, how much) survive, not who you are.

6. Your Rights

From inside the game, you can at any time:

• Export your data — download a full copy of everything linked to your account, in a portable format.
• Delete your account — your personal information is anonymized immediately and your gameplay history permanently erased, subject to the payment-record exception in Section 5.

7. Children's Privacy

Indian Dream is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll take appropriate action.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data — passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text), and administrative access to player data is restricted and access-controlled. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable, ongoing steps to protect your information.

9. Local Storage

The game stores a login token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between visits. This stays on your device and is used only to identify you to our own servers — not for tracking or advertising.

10. International Players

Indian Dream may be played from outside India. If you're in the European Economic Area, you have rights under GDPR, which the data export and deletion tools in Section 6 are built to satisfy — contact us if you have a request those tools don't cover.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.

12. Contact Us
